working w an editor

I got professional edits back from my editor a couple weeks ago. And it has been . . . difficult to dive into them. So I wanted to talk about it. How do I go about figuring out how to balance my style and my editor's professional feedback as an indie author? Is there anything else you want me to cover about my editing process? I could dip my toe back into tutorials if there's interest...

"Put down everything that comes into your head and then you’re a writer. But an author is one who can judge his own stuff’s worth, without pity, and destroy most of it.” — Colette Gauthier-Villars

Jessica Medina

Hey there! I'm Jessica Medina. Trust me, you’re gonna want me in your fellowship.

I’m blessed with an eye for great design and a passion for storytelling in all its forms. As a creative professional with over 10 years of experience in marketing/branding, I aim to approach client projects with clarity and empathy in mind.

I have an extensive background in design, and am well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite. I’m a published fiction author, so trust me when I say that the writing industry is very near and dear to my heart.

I truly love helping individuals and businesses craft stunning visuals and branding elements. I’m an INFJ. Enneagram 2. Ask me to take a character quiz and I’ll always get the helper. The mentor. The support. And you can bet your Golden Snitch I know what I’m doing around a computer.
